" Kuch Yaad Unhein Bhi Karlo ,
Jo Laut Ke Ghar Na Aaye  "

We have seen people Sacrificing for family , parents , love..!
Do you know anyone who sacrificed himself/herself for unknown people……

"If I die in battle zone
box me up and send me home
put my medals on my chest
tell my mom I did my best
tell my love not to cry
because I am a soldier born to die”
Jai Hind……!

8 months ago , I got a call from my childhood friend’s number
“ADIL MOHAMUDIN”, and that call freezed me up for some minutes...

Adil was my best friend, we were like “chuddy buddies”. He was 3yrs elder to me, a true Indian by heart, I used to call him “Bhagat Singh”. His love for his country was indeed!
I still remember, he used to take out his guns and me my kitchen set!! On every EID me and my whole family used to go to his place , that warmth I still remember, fighting for seviyan (a type of sweet) , running after each other , beautiful moments. As ladies were not allowed in mosques but he took me so that I could see. He always used to teach me some Islamic lessons. He was a very emotional guy  with a welcoming heart , always ready to help others, he knew how to win people's heart!

This country was his God and he wanted to become its slave. He joined Army in 2008 , by going against his mother and even me , I were always scared of losing him.

When I asked him why do you want to join army Adil , there are many other things to do in this world...?
he replied "to protect you and....my country"  these words really touched my heart!! I was speechless after that.

What to say he was not just my great buddy, but a great Son, Brother and now a great 'SHAHEED' (Martyr). While leaving, for his posting in Kashmir , he hugged me and said "NIKITA, IF I DIE DON'T EVER MOURN, BE PROUD!!"And with a smile he left.........And never came back!

"ADIL , I was , I am and I will  always be proud of you!"

I lost him, I feel that if, I could see him for the last time!! I still remember the glimpse of his smiling face....

Loving a military man is not hard..
      the distance is hard..
the worry is hard, the sacrifices are hard..
But loving him the easiest thing one
        can do......!!

Today I just want to STAND-UP and SALUTE to not only Adil but to all those Army Officers who fight and lose their lives to save us!! Even they have their families who are waiting for them with a hope that they may come back home soon! They are the people because of whom we are sitting in our homes safely. They help us unconditionally.....

65yrs of INDEPENDENCE , and do we know how many Jawans we lost for this day??
Today lets  be silent for a minute and pray for ALL THOSE OFFICERS, may they all Rest In Peace.

AMEN

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY..

-NIKITA(IO)
